Terms of Service

By commissioning me you are agreeing to the following terms. Please read in full.Not reading my terms of service is not valid grounds for not abiding by them.
Some statements are subject to change with prior discussion and written consent from me, the artist.I. GENERAL TERMSComprehensive references or descriptions are required.
I should be notified of any expected deadlines.
Expected turnaround time will vary based on the complexity of the request, personal circumstance, and waitlist.
I reserve the right to adjust my pricing accordingly, however, I will not change the agreed-upon price for an in-progress commission.
An exception to this rule are major requested changes after the commission is beyond the sketch/rough color phase.
Harrasment or inappropriate behaviour is grounds for declining a commission and blacklisting the client.
All personal information will be kept confidential.
If you fail to follow the rules provided I reserve the right to decline your commission.
I reserve the right to decline your commission without providing an explanation.II. PAYMENTFull payment must be paid upfront via PayPal.Currency: USD/EURPayment is done only after receiving the artists written consent on the price of the commission, any monetary compensation made without the written consent of the artist is treated as a donation.
The client cannot force a chargeback once the commission has been agreed upon and the payment received.
An unexpected deadline or rush order has an additional charge quoted by the artist.
Should the client cut contact with the artist the commission process is considered concluded and no refunds will be issued.
Complex details are subject to an additional fee.III. PROCESSAfter payment, in-progress works will be sent for discussion with the commissioner within 5 days, but may vary based on personal circumstance.
Finishing a commission may take from under a week to two months, depending on complexity and personal circumstance.
In case of delay due to unforeseen work, health issues or personal circumstance, you will be notified as soon as possible.
Any extreme revisions such as redoing an entire character, pose, background etc. require additional payment decided upon by the artist.
The client cannot change the subject of the commission once it is agreed upon.VI. FINALIZATIONAfter a commission is finished, only small changes are allowed to be made, such as small coloring/marking mistakes.
The final product given to the client will be in high resolution and must always include my signature.
Credit is required for both personal and commercial pieces.
Digital commissions will be sent in high resolution via Discord or e-mail.V. COPYRIGHT AND USAGE POLICYI, the artist, hold every right to the produced work, not the client.
All completed commissions fall under personal usage unless specified otherwise.
I reserve the right to show any commissions done on my portfolio and social media websites, unless a privacy fee worth 40% of the commission price is paid.
The client must not omit my signature from the finished piece.
Any edits to a piece commissioned from me are to be consulted with me, not other artists.The client is allowed to:
- Use the copyrighted artwork for personal use only, unless agreed upon otherwise.
- Print the art, and claim the right of their intellectual property, but not of the artwork itself.
- Post the finished image of the commission, provided that proper credit is given to me via social media links.The client is not allowed to:
- Take credit for the creation of the artwork.
- Remove any watermarks/signatures.
- Alter the artwork without my consent.
- Use the commission for commercial or profit purposes, unless agreed upon previously. The commission price is increased by 300% for any commercial use, in addition to the original commission price.A purchase of commercial rights to the artwork will always be 400% of the original price.
Credit is still required for usage of the artwork, even if altered or edited.V. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICYFor PayPal users:
The client reserves the right to cancel a commission if the payment has not yet been sent, but no right to cancel or demand a full refund after payment is received.
If the client wishes to cancel a commission, the refunded amount will be based on the amount of work completed and the client will receive the result.
I have the right to cancel a commission and refund payment at any time.
Should the client file a chargeback after the commission is done, they will be blacklisted, and I will be free to post their contacts wherever I see fit to inform other artists.For Ko-fi users:
At the current time I do not offer refunds for payments made via ko-fi.
